AquaArt: Transforming Green Oases into Blue Schools for a Pink Future
The project actively involved over 100 students in cleaning the Serava River and creating ecological art from collected waste. A real aquarium and a green wall were constructed in the school to serve as living tools for ecological education. Students manufactured their own recycling bins for classrooms and produced unique artistic creations for the TrashArt exhibition, including sculptures and collages made from collected waste.
Aim
To raise awareness of river protection, biodiversity and human impacts while fostering creativity, inclusion and long-term ecological habits. The work linked classroom learning with practical environmental action and helped students communicate the value of protecting their local aquatic environment.
