LIBRA (Library of the Air)

The project aims to increase citizens’ awareness of air quality and the urban microclimate through a free sensor lending service, as libraries with books. These sensors make it possible to measure air quality in both indoor and outdoor environments. The collected data can be viewed in real time on an interactive, user-friendly platform based on an open-source system.

Aim

On the one hand, the project aims to collect data that can complement institutional monitoring efforts; on the other, through workshops and outreach activities, it seeks to inform citizens about the risks of air pollution.
