The project was successfully completed with all objectives achieved, focusing on engaging students in research regarding the Baltic Sea and the Valgejõgi River. Students participated in various field trips, gaining direct exposure to research sites and ecosystems. Students met with marine and freshwater scientists to gain insights into conservation practices and supported efforts to protect endangered species.

Aim

To build practical skills in biodiversity, ecology and water-quality monitoring in freshwater and marine environments. These activities fostered a deeper understanding of the scientific aspects of local aquatic systems. The work linked classroom learning with practical environmental action and helped students communicate the value of protecting their local aquatic environment.
