Where are the Dragonflies?
The most significant result of the project was the creation of a comprehensive list detailing floristic and faunal species found in the upper reaches of the Drava River, spanning from the Slovenian border to Lake Varaždin. This database matched existing literature and was supplemented with metadata from natural science networks such as iNaturalist.
Aim
To document biodiversity and environmental change along the Drava River while strengthening field-research skills. The work linked classroom learning with practical environmental action and helped students communicate the value of protecting their local aquatic environment.
