Where does the water come from? Water doesn’t fall from the sky
The project promoted awareness and action regarding freshwater ecosystems through citizen science and collaborative initiatives. With the involvement of over 300 children and the support of families, environmental organisations, and researchers, the initiative connected the school with both the territory and the scientific community. Students participated in numerous field trips to explore local water resources and nearby aquatic environments.
Aim
To connect pupils with local freshwater systems and strengthen links between schools, science and community action. The work linked classroom learning with practical environmental action and helped students communicate the value of protecting their local aquatic environment.
