Fresh Minds for Water Stewardship (FMWS)
The project’s main goal was to strengthen students' awareness of the ecological and cultural values of freshwater and saltwater bodies affecting them closely, while expanding awareness across the local community. The outdoor environments explored were located near the school, specifically the Laghetti di Nervi and the Porticciolo di Nervi seaport. Students additionally supported the protection of the Varenna river mouth in Pegli.
Aim
To strengthen students' awareness of the ecological and cultural values of freshwater and saltwater bodies affecting them closely, while expanding awareness across the local community. The project supported learners in connecting local water issues with practical conservation actions, public awareness and long-term school-based sustainability practices.
