Getting acquainted with our sea - GAS
The GAS project was implemented between February and December 2025. It aimed to raise the environmental awareness of students and cultivate their understanding of the impact of human activity on ocean health and biodiversity. Students were taught about citizen science methodologies, and efforts were focused on promoting sustainable behaviours to students, parents, and the wider community.
Aim
It aimed to raise the environmental awareness of students and cultivate their understanding of the impact of human activity on ocean health and biodiversity. The project supported learners in connecting local water issues with practical conservation actions, public awareness and long-term school-based sustainability practices.
