Micro-Hunters 2025
The MicroHunt 2025 concluded with an international team completing quests to gain scientific knowledge. Participants explored local water bodies, cleaned riverbanks, and took water samples to detect microplastics; unfortunately, every sample confirmed the presence of these pollutants. Collected data was shared with the project support team, and the students adopted several measures to reduce pollution, such as using natural jute rope for.
Aim
To strengthen students' water and ocean literacy through practical activities addressing microplastics, freshwater monitoring, riverbanks, citizen science, international collaboration, while promoting environmental responsibility, scientific understanding and community engagement.
