Revival of the Getar River
The "Revival of the Getar River" project was implemented to promote water literacy, environmental awareness, and active student engagement. Through scientific research, clean-up activities, recycling initiatives, and creative projects, students explored local water challenges and proposed practical solutions. Water quality studies revealed high pollution levels, which raised awareness regarding significant environmental risks.
Aim
To strengthen students' water and ocean literacy through practical activities addressing river restoration, freshwater protection, pollution reduction, water quality, community awareness, while promoting environmental responsibility, scientific understanding and community engagement.
