The River Without Plastics: Together for Clean Water and Biodiversity
The project turned the 2025 school year into an adventurous journey of exploring water, ecosystems, and their protection. Students examined water quality on the Morava River, at its confluence with the Danube, and in Romania, where they collaborated with experts and partner schools to combine scientific work with creativity. The initiative included various excursions, the “Art from Plastic” competition, and a water-themed photo contest.
Aim
To strengthen students' water and ocean literacy through practical activities addressing plastic pollution, biodiversity, freshwater ecosystems, water quality, environmental awareness, while promoting environmental responsibility, scientific understanding and community engagement.
