Aqua Heroes: Mission for Blue Sustainability
Aqua Heroes engaged elementary students in creating bilingual comic books on marine and freshwater literacy. Through storytelling, illustration and environmental research, students explored single-use plastics, destructive fishing and protection of aquatic ecosystems, producing print and digital comics that supported creativity, awareness and community engagement.
Aim
To strengthen ocean and water literacy among young learners by combining environmental research with creative storytelling, enabling students to communicate sustainability messages in accessible and engaging formats.
