Biodegradable Vessels for Water Cleanup - BIOBOT
BIOBOT challenged students to design, build and test small biodegradable or recycled vessels for collecting plastic waste from water surfaces. Students applied STEM research, construction and optimisation methods, produced functional prototypes and technical documentation, and raised awareness of plastic pollution and sustainable engineering.
Aim
To connect STEM learning with aquatic ecosystem protection by enabling students to develop practical, eco-friendly engineering solutions for removing plastic waste from water.
