Blue Future: Eliminating Plastic, Promoting Ocean Energy and Embracing Algae
Blue Future addressed marine sustainability through three connected actions: reducing single-use plastic, exploring renewable ocean energy and promoting algae as a sustainable food source. Students investigated wave and tidal energy, grew simple seaweed projects, joined tasting sessions and promoted reusable alternatives across the school community.
Aim
To help students link daily choices with ocean health by combining plastic reduction, renewable energy learning and sustainable food education in practical, age-appropriate activities.
