BluEcoInVET – Promoting Smart Water Management Awareness through Blue Economy Principles in Vocational Construction Education
BluEcoInVET integrated Blue Economy principles into vocational construction education. Students designed and built ECOSCYCLE, a smart rain garden that collects, filters and reuses rainwater, and created a STEMCycle G2B Digital Twin web application to monitor it. Surveys showed increased environmental awareness and the results were shared through webinars and networks.
Aim
To show how vocational students can design practical, nature-based water-management solutions while developing technical, digital and environmental competences linked to the circular economy and SDG 6.
