IN-RIVER: Inclusive learning for river conservation

Completed

IN-RIVER strengthened environmental learning among children from Colegio Pekes de AMICOS through workshops and an outdoor activity around the Umia River. Students explored river care, biodiversity, water use and single-use plastics, joined families in outdoor learning and created a collaborative interactive book using pictograms and storytelling.

Aim

To promote river conservation, water awareness and inclusive environmental education by adapting hands-on learning for children with cognitive disabilities and early intervention needs.
