Mare Nostrum
Mare Nostrum empowered students to study the ecological health of Barcelona’s coastline using a student-designed submarine robot. Through STEM work, they investigated marine indicators such as water quality, biodiversity and pollution, compiled findings into a scientific report and developed recommendations aligned with sustainability goals.
Aim
To connect robotics, marine science and sustainability by enabling students to design monitoring tools and assess local coastal ecosystem health through interdisciplinary STEM learning.
