Searching for Living Water
Searching for Living Water improved pupils’ understanding of water pollutants through direct sampling, observation and sharing. Students monitored local water sources, explored microplastics and living organisms, learned why water protection matters, and involved parents and homeschool students in outdoor activities linked to nature, science and mathematics.
Aim
To develop environmental awareness and responsible behaviour by helping pupils investigate local water quality, pollution and microplastics through direct outdoor learning.
