Save Our SEA empowered students to investigate microplastic pollution in Eastern Attica through field research, technological innovation and community engagement. Students trained with HCMR scientists, conducted coastal clean-ups and sampling, built testing kits, created an awareness comic, an escape room, a Hackathon and the BeachWatch3EK pollution-reporting app.
Aim
To build water literacy and environmental responsibility by enabling students to study microplastics, communicate risks and develop practical tools for community reporting and action.
