Lisbon Finals is an autonomous monitoring station operating from a residential terrace in Lisbon, directly under the LPPT airport approach path.

The project publishes live dashboards, flight-by-flight observations, monthly acoustic reports and selected aircraft captures.
Lisbon Finals is not official airport data and not a complaint platform. Its purpose is to create a public, repeatable local record of what crosses one Lisbon terrace: aircraft, decibels, vibrations and atmospheric signals.

To create a public, repeatable local record of aircraft passages, noise peaks, vibration pulses and air-quality signals from one fixed residential point in Lisbon, directly under the LPPT approach path.
The project aims to make local urban exposure visible through live data, automated visual evidence and monthly acoustic reports.
How to participate
How people can participate
Lisbon Finals is designed to be replicated, not just observed. Anyone living under a flight path, in Lisbon or elsewhere, can host a node of their own, even partially, starting with just a sound meter. The full build (code, materials list, install steps) is shared on request, with the goal of federating multiple stations into one shared dataset: Lisbon Finals, and eventually Paris Finals, Copenhagen Finals, wherever someone wants to start one.
Beyond hosting a node, residents and researchers can also flag a suspected flight ID or noise reading that looks off, helping validate the automated pipeline.
Raw flight-level data (beyond the aggregated dashboards and reports) is available on request to researchers and interested citizens who contact us directly at chronos@lisbonfinals.com.
All published data is released under CC BY 4.0, free to reuse, including commercially, with attribution.
