BioAgora
from 01/07/2022 until 30/06/2027
BioAgora is a European collaborative project funded by the Horizon Europe programme. It aims to connect research results on biodiversity to the needs of decision-making in a targeted dialogue between scientists, other knowledge holders and policy actors.
Aim
The project's main outcome will be the development of a fair and functional Science Service for Biodiversity that will orchestrate processes and initiatives at the Science-Policy Interface at the European level.
At the basis of the Science Service for Biodiversity are the Knowledge Exchange Networks (KENs), which are collaborative networks of experts in specific domains who are contacted whenever a policy-related request comes in for the Science Service for Biodiversity to answer. Whenever a request comes, the projects launches an internal and external call for experts - here is an example - who then have time at disposal to send back a detailed and policy-relevant answer.
