Storytelling play "Dialoghi Alieni sulla Biodiversità" (Alien Dialogues on Biodiversity)
The storytelling play features an imaginary dialogue between to invasive alien species, the blue saltwater crab and the red freshwater shrimp, which playfully address the impact of invasive alien species on native species and biodiversity. The two compare their experiences and touch upon current ecosystem problems, which favor the establishment of new species, such as land use and land use change, overexploitation of resources, overfishing, water pollution, plastic pollution, climate change. The aim of the play is to raise awareness amongst the public, make them reflect on the need to protect the environment, stimulating a behavioral change and engagement.
