CROPS Scaling Resources for the EU Missions
The CROPS (Curating, Replicating, Orchestrating, and Propagating Citizen Science across Europe) project is an EU-funded initiative that supports the scaling of citizen science from local to transnational levels, in alignment with the five EU Missions. By developing user-centered design protocols, project-based personas, and practical replication pathways, CROPS helps practitioners strengthen impact, collaboration, and long-term sustainability across Europe.
As part of this effort, CROPS has developed transnational online community spaces to enhance collaboration and resource-sharing among citizen science practitioners. These spaces and resources are designed to foster connection, knowledge exchange, and practical guidance for scaling projects within the EU Mission framework. The spaces are continuously updated with new content, featured in quarterly newsletters, and connected with existing citizen science networks to ensure sustained engagement, visibility, and long-term impact.
