This study is part of a Citizen Science project developed within the Strategic Project "Artificial Intelligence for the Security of IoT Devices" (C032.23), the result of a collaboration agreement between the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE) and the University of Burgos. This initiative is funded by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union (Next Generation EU), the Spanish Government's project that outlines the roadmap for modernizing the Spanish economy, recovering economic growth and creating jobs, achieving a solid, inclusive, and resilient economic reconstruction after the COVID-19 crisis, and addressing the challenges of the next decade. The study analyzes the adoption and security of Internet of Things (IoT) devices in the home environment, along with the population's level of cybersecurity awareness. The initiative aims to evaluate cybersecurity perceptions and practices, as well as potential differences between sociodemographic profiles.
