Connecting communities through science and education for cleaner air and greener futures
AirSense brings together teachers, students and schools who want to combine hands-on making, real science and environmental action in the classroom. We are developing an innovative approach to STEAM education by blending citizen science with digital competences in a student-centered approach related to monitoring of air quality around schools: The project supports teachers with practical materials, adaptable learning scenarios and targeted training, making it easy to integrate air quality digital tools and sustainability topics into everyday school practice while connecting schools in Portugal, Greece, Ireland and Germany in a shared monitoring network.
