The app records important indicators of soil health, including humus content, water storage capacity, and earthworm population. The inclusion of accompanying data such as soil type, weather, and type of cultivation helps to better classify the results. Info panels guide through the individual tests.

The [pane] app by SPOTTERON can be used to examine the soil of farmland, grassland, or gardens. It compares different plots, crops, or farming methods to see how they affect soil health.
Aim
The goals are to research your own farm and find ways to improve soil health. Your data is also stored together with that of all other participants on a secure server and used anonymously by the Department of Soil Science at the Technical University of Berlin for research on soil health. This way, as many people as possible benefit together.
