Literacy in Science Know-how and Education for Mediterranean Sea Protection (LikeMySea)
The LikeMySea project successfully employed a multifaceted approach to enhance environmental awareness and participation among students targeting Mediterranean Sea protection. Activities included sampling ocean parameters, such as seawater temperature, and biodiversity observations, which were uploaded to the Minka Platform. Students also generated templates and detailed instructions for recording plastic waste data and oceanic parameters.
Aim
To improve ocean literacy and Mediterranean Sea protection through student monitoring, mobility and communication. The work linked classroom learning with practical environmental action and helped students communicate the value of protecting their local aquatic environment.
